The vision of JBSDA is to provide children, youth, and adults with an environment that teaches age-appropriate classical ballet and modern dance technique, healthy self-expression, and creativity. In addition to a strong focus on technique and performance, JBSDA’s classes provide challenges and opportunities for students to build strong communities as they work together in setting goals, overcoming obstacles, practicing life skills. We believe that dance is about more than movement, it is about making meaning through dance and collaboration, building relationships, and honing skills that will last a lifetime.
